Stayed here for four nights for a wedding. Rooms are large and comfortable; ours had a lovely view of the lake. Staff are welcoming. Breakfast (as mentioned in many reviews) really is excellent. A comfortable (rather than spectacular) place to stay if you want to avoid chain hotels.
