We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Shannonside House Athlone. The location of the B&B was very convenient, a five minute walk to the town centre. The owners were extremely welcoming. The breakfast was delicious! I would highly recommend Shannonside House.

We stayed at Shannonside House as part of a trip through to the West of Ireland. And the place is nice enough, and the owners were lovely, but it's fairly bland. The rooms are fairly dated, but clean, the breakfast is nice enough but not the best I've ever had, so overall it's a basic nice place.
