The house is incredible. Beautiful stone walls, very homely but with modern comforts and interior. Lovely conservatory for breakfast. Breakfast was fantastic. Fresh eggs from the chickens, irish butchers sausages and bacon and home made soda bread. Can't beat it! Kathleen was a lovely host and very hospitable. Will definitely be going back. More

We are a family of four with two young boys and had a delightful week at Kathleen's cottage where she also runs a B & B in the main house. The welcome was warm and friendly and we found a beautiful, spacious house which was spotlessly clean and had everything that we needed for our week long stay. The house... More

I cannot praise this guest house too much. Kathleen went out of her way to make sure we had the most wonderful time and was attentive without being intrusive-a great skill! The rooms are very well appointed an comfy, and the house is a short walk from the restaurants and pubs in the village so you don't need to drive.... More

This was our third trip to Ireland and our second stay in the Galway area. The house and grounds were perfect (the garden in back was very nice) and our hostess, Kathleen Griggs, was very welcoming. Rooms come with access to a kitchen area. Tullyvrick is within 10 walking minutes of dining and shopping in Oughterard and just as close... More

The house is just great. The guest lounge is very cosy with the turf fire. There is even a guest kitchen, so it is more an appartment than a mere B&B. Good pub just 10 min walk away. More

We arrived to the surprise of our hostess. Unfortunately our booking over the internet had not quite made it into the reservation book for the right day. I accept that I should have been confirming my accommodation prior to my arrival as I had booked many months in advance and therefore as standard practise for other travellers in general, I... More

My wife and I first stayed with Kathleen in her very lovely home last Summer. We were touring around the west Coast and were recommended to this B&B by the local tourist office. We stayed one night and were so pleased with the area, we then chose to stay for a full week. Kethleen also has, as well as the... More

Myself and six work colleagues recently spent 5 nights at Tullyvrick. I can without any hesitation recommend Tullyvrick B&B as an place to stay in Oughterard. Our stay was one of the most memorable and enjoyable stays we've ever had away in any B&B or hotel for that matter. Located only a stone's throw from the village of Oughterard, itself... More
