With our first hand experience in the food and hospitality business we look for different elements, good food being the first. Joint second would be the service and the atmosphere. The King Sitric had one of these elements in abundance. More

The King Sitric was wonderful. We had a lovely room (Tusker Rock) that was very comfortable. The main reason we stayed there was for the restaurant, and my husband highly recommends the lobster. You can't get any fresher. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. More

Over the last three or so years I've used Dublin city hotels when staying over fir business and this week I decided to head just 30mins out of town to the amazing sea side village of Howrh and stay at The King Sitric. What an amazing place!! Joan and her team are so welcoming and professional. The room I stayed... More

Simply superb. As seafood lovers we travel all over Europe to indulge ourselves , and have eaten at the KS 7 times now and have never ever been disappointed. We have brought many friends here from the UK especially to join us for dinner and every time they are as impressed as we are. Quite simply I would be proud... More

Joan and Aiden were really lovelly and even took my daughter into the kitchen after breakfast one morning to see the lobsters. The view from all the rooms were spectactular!... More

The owner was very nice. My boyfriend and I came in last minute and had no reservations, the owner negotiated a price for us and found us a room for a great deal! We also had a very early flight out of Dublin and the owner went out of his way to fix us a wonderful traditional irish breakfast even... More

We stayed here at the end of our trip to Ireland. What a wonderful experience!!! From the moment we met Joan at the front door until we bid Aidan farewell we were treated like a king and queen (whoops--maybe not politically correct here!!)...perhaps more like much loved family members. The fabulous dinner, the lovely room and scrumptious breakfast are all... More

We have stayed in the King Sitric eight times now and are always delighted. The food is delicious, the location perfect (right on the East Pier with great views), and Joan and Aidan always take such great care of us. We liked the place so much we decided to start holding conferences here, and it has proved perfect for that,... More

Do not recommend. Owners very nice, but the room was horrid. The hallways had a peculiar odor, shower not good although they did supply robes, bed was awful, room dank and appeared not to have been updated in 20 years. Views of harbor were very very limited...a small window, hardly a view. Worse place we have stayed in all our... More
