When my son was three he fell twice in this hotel, once in bathroom with sloped!!! slippy lino and once from lightweight dining chair as foreign waiter tried to understand my order. Hotel did not even reply or apologise, as they said they would, when I wrote to TAMS about this danger. Worth paying more for a more saftey conscious... More

We had read a review about Cobh in a travel magazine, so it was on our list of "must visit". After a walking tour we were recommended Bella Vista for our nights accomodation. The service and friendliness was second to none. We were made more than welcome. If you want to fish, Kevin is the man to see. The rooms... More

Great customer service and a brilliant welcome to Cork. We had requested a quieter/spacious room as we were travelling with our 9 month old. They upgraded us at no charge to one of their self catering suites, which was perfect for our busy, crawling bubs. They also had a travel cot for us and were a great help in what... More

We took a suite as no ordinary rooms left. Very spacious, but rather basic. Staff very friendly, but breakfast was a bit of a let down, rather bland. More

I have stayed 3 times at the Bella Vista. Once as b&b and twice in the suites. If you have a child the suites are the best option. Loads of space for toddlers to potter around and the sitting room is very handy to entertain family etc. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The t.v was a bit complicated... More

We would stay here again when in the area. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The view of Cobh harbor and part of the town is outstanding. Easy walk to the cathedral, central part of town and the waterfront. We were fortunate enough to stay during the weekly "trad" music performance in the onsite pub. Wonderful music and performers!... We moved to this place after one not so good night at the Commodre Hotel down on the waterfront. The woman at the desk was great, the room was nice and clean. It is a bit of a walk (10 minutes) to the center of the action, but as a result it is quiet for a good night's sleep. The... More

Great package for anglers, top quality boats, top quality accommodation & with Kevin Murphy a very special host. Our 4th trip here & better than ever, great big breakfast, comfortable rooms & great location. You don't have to fish though to enjoy your stay but give it a go & you'll be hooked More
