Dirty moldy bathrooms and fabrics ripped and torn on a chair made the first impression horrid. There are only a few hotels in cobh to choose from and I would definitely make another choice. They r doing up the place but when we booked we were not advised of workmen and hammer drills with pots of paint upstairs to step... More

My family and I had booked a B&B in Cobh and after going there to settle in before dinner we realized that it was not going to work for us. (It was a converted garage.) So we decided to go to dinner and see if there were any other accommodations to be had for the night. We were able to... More

Stayed here during July and had a family room with lovely views of cruise liners which was a big plus. We waited at least 10 minutes to check in, girl at reception was writing in the back office and even though she knew we were waiting chose to ignore us. Guests came and went during this time, and when she... More

'Grabbed' a deal from the internet and were more thatn happy with our stay at this lovely hotel - the staf were efficient and friendly and the cuisine was excellent. The town of Cobh had lots to offer for tourists and we plan to come back in the summer for some good weather...M and B More

We have just returned from a weekend break and had a great time. The hotel was very nice and the staff so helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble and when we inquired about train times to Cork the waitress printed the details off for us. Food was delicious and breakfast very nice with several choices from full Irish... More

My partner and I stayed here in March, as there was a new cruise ship coming to Ireland, having been launched in the UK. We requested a room with a view, and boy did we get it. We got a very clean room, facing out into Cork harbour, with views over Haulbowline, and Spike Island. We also got the best... More

Stayed here for two nights and enjoyed the experience .Small hotel makes it more friendly but it does have its limitations which is reflected in its 3 stars rating. You definitely need a sea view room as the back rooms have no view and can be noisey .They are not overstaffed which means that at busy times tables can be missing... From the moment you walk into the lobby this place is grubby. THe carpets, paintwork, the tiles in the bathroom - it just makes you feel like not touching anything. As other have said, the views over the harbour are great and rooms have a patio to sit and watch the boats roll in. The bed, thankfully, was spotlessly clean.... More
