The hostel was very cozy but a little tight on space. The location is unbeatable if you like smaller towns with rural attractions. The ballycarberry castle and two forts are great visits and the ring of Kerry runs right through the area. Pretty reasonably priced and very friendly service.

We booked one night and ended up staying for 4. Really welcoming owners, the owner converted her family home into a hostel, but she keeps it as well as any family home I have ever visited. A real gem, more like a townhouse than a hostel and I Will definitely return to sive hostel.

Stayed here for bank holiday weekend while visiting ring of Kerry. Festival weekend so plenty to do in Cahirciveen and fun people around watching music.
