Mary Foley's B&B had a gorgeous vista of the mountains of Killarney and the farms nearby. It was absolutely relaxing and comfortable to stay with her. She went out of her way to make certain that we had a perfect time while there! We feel we have met a new and dear friend in Ireland! more

It was our second stay at Mary's Dromin farmhouse and once again we were absolutely thrilled to be there. Mary is a wonderful host - friendly, charming, helpful, generous ... the house is ideally situated for tours to the Ring of Kerry AND Dingle Peninsula. Killarney National Park can be reached within 25 minutes ... so if you're a visitor... more

This B&B will make all others pale in comparison. There are so many homey touches to make it comfortable, like a second hand basin outside the bathroom and an extra heater in the shower area. The beds were very comfortable. The food, selected from a menu, was excellent--especially the eggs fresh from the farm. The room and all linens were... more

May Foley is the greastest host in Ireland. she made sure that our stay was the best it could be. She had Tea and candy in the living room and talked to us for over an hour about our travels and told us about the "New Ireland" She sent us to a great place dinner. "The Fishery" only a few... more

This is a super wonderful B&B. It is really off the beaten path and so worth the time it takes to find it. Thank goodness for GPS. The scenery at this B&B is totally awesome. You have mountains in the distance and green fields that seem to stretch on forever. The owner of Dromin Farmhouse is a such a sweet... more

Mary is very nice and welcoming, and her fruit salad is the best ever. Though, accomodation is way less comfortable than in other equivalent B&Bs in Ireland. The main problem is that the bathroom is "partitioned" , kind of French-style, with the sink by the bed and the toilet+shower in a separate room. We were not used to it and... more

I stayed three weeks in Dromin Farmhouse in September 2009, the purpose of my stay was to fish the river Laune for Salmon. The house is located in a beautiful scenic part of Kerry. The house is very quite, has friendly atmosphere, with a very pleasant Landlady. It is very conveniently located for visiting Killarney and the ring of Kerry... more

My husband and I spent 3 nights at Dromin Farmhouse. After a long overnight flight and 2 1/2 drive from Shannon, Mary greeted us with scones and tea. What a lovely welcome! Breakfasts were great and it was a delight to return to Dromin Farmhouse each evening after a day of touring. We enjoyed a delightful view of the mountains... more
