Plain, basic, overpriced B&B, without the expected welcoming atmosphere. Clean but small and charmless rooms with no view to speak of. A stone's throw from the town center, but that's about its only selling point.

My husband and I arrived in Clifden in the late evening and stopped by the tourist office in the middle of town to try to get a recommendation for a bed and breakfast in the low-to-moderate price range.
