We stayed in the hotel for a friends wedding....set in the beautiful town of Clifden the hotel is in an idyllic location.
The hotel is well laid out with a large reception area and large rooms (2 double beds in each)
it is surrounded by yhe old station buildings which have been converted into shops, cafe's etc..

I spent 4 days here with friends and my mum who is an octogenarian, and we all loved it. The rooms were spacious and comfortable; the pool and spa facilities were easily accessible; breakfast was excellent and the bars had good atmosphere. The staff were kind and helpful throughout. Clifden is just a minutes walk away, and has a good variety...

Just spent the New Year in Station House Clifden. What a wonderful time we had in this hotel. The food was excellent and especially the New Year Eves Dinner was outstanding. We stayed here with my parents & toddler in early November and had a wonderful time. My husband and I had been here approx 5-6 years ago and really enjoyed it. What put is off going back before now was the distance from Dublin but with the new road to Galway now it really cuts down the time. Our stay...

Stayed here for two nights in November. A nice hotel. Clean and spacious rooms, comfortable beds, and a really great location; it's five minutes walking distance from all of Clifden's central attractions, pubs, and dining options, and ample parking available. We weren't much impressed with the breakfast (Go to Walsh's, one street over, instead, and sit by the window for...

Myself and my partner stayed in the Clifden Station House for a weekend recently. We had got a fantastic deal online (on one of the voucher sale pages) - €99 for 2 nights B&B for 2 people, a great bargain although we would return and pay full price because we enjoyed ourselves so much.
The Hotel is set in a...
