A very nice hotel with a great view of the lake and countryside. The map and directions aren't very clear but we found it. Like most hotels, they should include their map coordinates for GPS use. Have been here many times for quiet meals to busy family gatherings. Last time we all stayed the night and everything was just amazing from when we arrived to our beautiful room with a breath taking view. Lovely short stay in this comfortable hotel.Good rooms with sea view,great fires and plenty of candles to compliment the great food.A little bit out of town but really no need to go anywhere else!We will be back.

Having been recommended we had a delightful stay here. Welcominig reception by Stephane the owner,lovely turf fires in the lounge and dining room,each with superb sea views as did our bedroom.The meals and service were excellent and the decour and personal touches most attractive.Lovely and quiet yet close to Clifden We hope to return.

Overpriced, very rude and sexist owner...nice to my boyfriend, horrible and rude to me! One of the staff, Sidney, was lovely and helpful. Her boss and the owner was rude and our room was the worst I have ever stayed in.
