My wife & I went to Sharramore house for a quiet weekend away. The hosts - Sue & John - could not be more welcoming or more helpful. From the smell of fresh coffee in the morning, to their expert recommendations of local walks & drives they couldn't do enough for you as their guests.

Just arrived back from a weekend at Sharamore. It is a really lovely BnB. Sue and john are very welcoming. The rooms are beautifully comfortable and breakfast is a delight. Loved our wet room with colourful shower head!

Great folks run this place. They care about their guests, they like what they are doing and it shows. Located close to Clifden, the Sharamore is comfortable and welcomming. And, yes... The breakfasts are to die for.

What a lovely base to discover the beauties of Connemara from. A very large thank you to Sue (and of course Stanley) for providing such comfort and gentle company. I believe that previous reviewers have described this house better than I can, except to say it was a wonderful experience and one day, I hope to come back.

Sharamore House is one of the best places I've stayed in Ireland! Not only was the room spacious, spotlessly clean and comfortable, the bed was the most comfortable I've slept in. the breakfast was also incredible.... Homemade stewed fruit, marmalade and jams and brown bread, Free range eggs and fresh orange juice, smoked fish, fresh pancakes... I could go on... More
