We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Florence and Donal. We were made to feel so welcome. For our first night we were the only guests and had pick of the rooms. Being the only guests didn't limit the breakfast choices as we had a huge range of items to select from and couldn't possibly finish the huge cooked breakfast. Sitting... More

This place is an absolute gem and I picked Coateslands based on the reviews and its architecture. We were not disappointed. Where do I start? Upon our arrival we were greeted by Florence, who is one of the most amazing ladies that we have had the pleasure to meet. We were shown to our comfortable room which was spotless and... More

My husband and I stayed here for one evening and it was a great pleasure. It is located on the main road and just outside the lovely village of Adare. The hospitality was wonderful. The Hogan’s thought of everything. Our room was very comfortable and very clean. Florence recommended a local restaurant, which was fantastic! The next morning we were... More

We stayed at Coatesland for one night, but would have happily stayed a week longer. The hosts - Florence, Donal and of course Winnie the pooch, made us feel absolutely at home, and gave wonderful suggestions of sightseeing and dining options. We even had a choice of rooms when we arrived - all the rooms and bathrooms are decorated with... More

We thouroughly enjoyed our one night stay at Coatesland House and would have gladly spent more time there. Florence, Donal and Winnie the pup were fantastic, gracious hosts. They even tossed our wet clothes in the dryer after getting caught in a downpour earlier in the day. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Their recommendations for dinner, drinks and sights to... Donal and Florence do an amazing breakfast here. Anything and everything! Our room was massive and a great deal. We stayed here for a wedding rather than pay loads for the expensive hotels in the area. Great decision and would certainly stay here again. More

Donal and Florence were wonderful hosts. Their breakfast room is paradise - the food delicious. The room was spotless, beds comfortable. We so enjoyed sitting and talking with them - could have stayed for days. Loved their pup Winnie too!!! Such a delight...would love to come back to visit. More

We came upon this B&B purely by chance. The outside of the home being very friendly with a great yard. Our hotess Florence was incredible. The home was decorated very nicely, clean, and a huge bedroom we stayed in with 2 bathrooms! Her breakfast room is to die for and her meal was perfect. Bonus was the backyard flower beds... More

Coatesland House provided everything I needed for my vacation. The room was beautifully decorated and extremely clean. There was even a small refrigerator in my room. My view of the back garden was lovely. Florence and Donal could not have been more helpful with suggestions of places to see and pubs to visit within walking distance. Breakfast was unending. Choices... More

Donal was a gracious and spectacular host! He helped carry our bags up to our room, gave us suggestions for places to visit and pubs and resturants to go to. He is a very delightful man, who is more than happy to sit and chat with you if you have time. The room was spacious and clean and came with... More
