The Old Bank's location is its greatest asset; it could not be more central in the town. The room was spacious and very clean but our bathroom was lacking extra loo roll. Also, the shower in the bathroom was temperamental (the water temperature went from hot to cold on its own accord). The staff were friendly and helpful. We opted... More

Old Bank is a great boutique hotel in the downtown of the small town of Kinsale. You can walk to all shops and restaurants. It was one of our favorites in all of Ireland. Everyoney at the hotel was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was served in the cafe on the first floor. We got good recommendations for dinner and... More

Options in Kinsale are limited but prior reviews were good. The hotel is in a 100 yr. old building so the oddity is expected. The decor was quirky and the rooms very small. I was not impressed with the cleanliness of the rooms and there were stains on the furniture. The location is primo so that is a huge plus.... More

Stayed here during kinsale 7's tournament. Would highly recommend to anyone. With very central location, comfy beds and excellent breakfast we really enjoyed our stay. Also very impressed having security on site at night time.

The Old Bank House was very quaint. If you're looking for a big hotel room, ask for the Post Master's room. This room has story tall windows and looks out on the town. One pointer about parking, you must pay for a ticket that is good for 2 hours at a time from 10am to 6pm. From 6pm to 10am,... More

The Old Bank House was a great historic building with modern amenities and one of the friendliest, helpful staffs we encountered. The breakfast was exceptional. Kinsale is a wonderful town and this property was perfectly located to begin our exploration.

We really enjoyed our stay in the Old Bank-the room was airy and bright and a huge, comfortable bed. Old style windows allowed a brilliant view of the town and the location was exellent for discovering Kinsale. Breakfast was fantastic, what a choice and all home baked. The seeded health fruit loaf was delicious as ws the yogurtand fruit compote in... More

My wife and my 18 year old daughter booked a three-beds room. We got one facing the street. It was a large and very practical room for us. Breakfast was superb, with a large variety of choices. The overall service from the staff was excellent and very friendly. The only drawback was the wifi, it was slow/non exisisting in our... More

I stayed here as part of a group, and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. First of all The Blue Haven Collection had quoted us a group rate, which was excellent value. The hotel (while clearly an older building) was immaculate and cosy, the beds were comfortable, and the bathrooms were clean and modern. Downstairs in the café,... More
