We stayed here for our anniversary, and we could not have been happier. Andrew was so kind and welcoming. The room on the 3rd floor overlooking the harbor was so comfortable. He made reservations for dinner for us a month in advance, and the breakfast in the inn was lovely.

From the moment you meet Andrew you are at home in this magnificent Georgian home full of antique furniture and interesting paintings and prints. Even though this was Kinsale sevens this Perryville was a haven from the street frenzy. Rooms are spacious, beds comfy, water hot; and it didn't matter if you arrived home at 2pm or 2am the welcome... More

Just had a lovely weekend at Perryville House celebrating my friend's birthday & feel I have to let others know how perfect it was. The rooms were large, luxurious & spotless. The breakfast was cooked with care (& delicious) & served by friendly staff, The owners made us feel very welcome & "at home" from the moment we arrived -... More

We stayed at Perryville House in October with 6 other friends. The location was great and we enjoyed walking around town. The parking is just across the street. Andrew was a terrific host, and made us feel welcome. The breakfast was very nice. Unfortunately some of the local restaurants were closed during the time we were there, but we did... More

We booked 2 rooms for a July 2012 stay. The inn was fantastic, as were the owners. They were helpful but not intrusive. The location is perfect for walking the town and we were able to park our car across the street. The breakfasts we had were really good and the staff couldn't have been nicer. The rooms were very... We had a very nice time at the Perryville House. I just wish we would have been able to stay longer. The home is just when you drive into town, making access to everything very easy. We were upgraded without our knowledge to a much larger room than we were expecting, which was lovely. Andrew called right over to a... More

This was my first time staying at the Perryville House. The room was nice and cozy with antique furniture and pictures. The view of the water and Kinsale town centre was really beautiful. It is in such a great location. You can walk to everything in just a couple minutes. Andrew was amazing. He is so knowledgeable about the area.... More

We stayed at Perryville house this September. Andrew is a gracious and helpful host. Our room had a wonderful water view. Our room was very large and decorated with refined taste. There are beautiful antiques throughout the house. A nice cozy fireplace with a warm fire every night in the common living room. Our bathroom was very modern and a... More

On my fifth visit to Kinsale I've found the place I want to stay in for every future visit. Perryville House is a beautifully decorated, spacious guesthouse, perfectly situated facing the water in Kinsale town centre. Whatever you do, don't skip breakfast. The dining room in itself is worth the visit, the breakfast top quality, cooked to order with a... More

In our modern age, it is unusually difficult to recreate the past decoratively and authentically without either pretentiousness or an accusation of it. I have seen this in many countries during my travels as a foreign correspondent and had learned to live with it. What a pleasant surprise, therefore, to encounter and enjoy the “genuine article” at Perryville House –... More
