We loved staying at the San Antonio. The location is great and Jimmy is an excellent host. He makes a wonderful breakfast and always took time to chat with us and make sure we were happy and had everything we needed. He gave us excellent recommendations and suggested we drive around the Beara Peninsula which was beautiful. Would definitely stay... More

We enjoyed our stay in Kinsale. Jimmie was a great host with good advice as to where we might find some local music. Parking was fine and a very short walk into the heart of the town. More

We enjoyed our stay in Kinsale very much. It is a quaint, clean & lovely little town that is made for strolling. Fort Charles is not too bad a walk from this excellently located B&B. The rest of Kinsale is right down the street and around the corner. The host, Jimmy, is a low keyed person ready to make your... More

Kinsale is a wonderful place to visit and Jimmie is a great host. The B&B is located a very short walking distance to pretty much everything you want to see in Kinsale. We had 2 rooms for our group of 3 adults and teenager and a 9-month baby. To ensure our comfort he gave us the top floor just for... More

We stayed at the San Antonio for a couple of nights in July. Jimmy the host is extremely friendly and helpful, and cooks a great breakfast (with various options). The B&B is also located just a couple of minutes stroll from the middle of Kinsale. Our room on the top floor was very comfortable and is excellent value for money.... More

Location was excellent in the heart of the beautiful little port town of Kinsale. The place had a real old-world charm - not fancy but comfortable and homey. But it was Jimmie who made the stay exceptional - fun and funny, great advice on what to see and do in town, and great trad musician too (get his CD -... More

The San Antonio B&B is a fantastic place. Jimmie's hospitality goes way beyond the call of duty. It's a great location just a block from the towns center. Jimmie is more than happy to give you recommendations on where to eat and pubs to enjoy and he was spot on. The rooms were a good size, very clean and the... More

Jimmie is a great host and wonderful cook - breakfast were superb. Loved the grapefruit in the morning - felt just like home. Our room was comfy and the shower was great with lots of hot water. It's just a very short walk (3 minutes) to the centre of town. Desmond Castle is just steps away. Jimmie gave us great... More

Jimmie is absolutely lovely. From a friendly welcome to tips for the city he was great to converse with. The room was big, but the shower was a little small (standard European). The breakfast was fabulous and cooked to order. In the summer months when we were there the top floor where our room was located got a little warm... More
