My family of four had a great time in Clonakilty, and loved our stay with Norma at her B&B. We checked out the working farm adjacent to the house, had a great ramble around Clonakilty and environs, and enjoyed the company of Benson, the humongous teddy-bear Newfoundland/Bernese mix. Delicious breakfast, too! Very recommended! More

This lovely dairy farm in an idyllic setting was the perfect place for us to light after having a hectic tourist day. Norma, a warm motherly hostess, made us feel at home immediately and served a wonderful sea bass dinner. The room was spacious and the view from the window included rolling hills with dairy cattle. Breakfast the next morning... More

We had a wonderful time at Ard Na Greine. Norma Walsh the owner is a wonderful cook, friendly person. The farmhouse is clean and decorated with flare and quailty. Outside the farm is clean and well maintain. The food that was offer was like a french restuarant we highly recommend this B&B to anyone that is traveling Ireland. More

Norma gave us a very warm welcome and is an exceptionally kind person. She is also an excellent cook, providing a full Irish breakfast and a superb evening meal, which is welcome at the end of a busy day. The room was very clean, comfortable, and quiet, with a beautiful view over the countryside. This B and B is well... More

We arrived early and even though Norma was in the middle of a big job, she welcomed us in and arrived back with a big tea tray of apple pie with cream, fresh homemade scones with jam and a hot pot of tea. A very gracious hostess! It proved a very restful stop on our trip. Norma is an excellent... More

We loved the location out in the country with Clonakilty close by. Norma went out of her way to make everything just right. The rooms were very clean and tidy with a small but adequate and modern bathroom. The best part of the stay was probably the cooking. Living in the States where so much of the food has artifical... We just came back from a wonderful 3-day stay at Ard Na Greine farmhouse. Our kids (aged 3 and 5) are still talking about the new born calf they saw and all the cows and other glimpses of farm life. The house is located a few miles outside of town, but really gives a great view and perspective of the... More

Norma Walsh made us feel like family. She was sensitive to the needs of my mom who has a wheat and dairy allergy. Not many bed and breakfasts serve evening meals but Ard Na Greine does! Norma offers quite a bit of choice and she aims to please!! Three courses are offered every night and don't turn down her Irish... More
