Three of us stayed in a 3 bed room at this B&B and I can confidently say that I was happy with everything given it was a B&B. I normally stay in hotels but I left it late to book and on a recommendation from a nearby hotel, I booked us all in here. The owner was so funny and... More

My wife and I stayed here for 1 night last weekend and were overall very pleased with our stay; location-wise, if it's Midledon that you want to stay in, well this b&b is centrally located. The bedroom was large by Irish standards with an excellent ensuite and a powerful shower. The owners are really friendly and went out of their... More

I normally stay in hotels when away on business but I am getting fed up been treated as number rather than a returning guest. Decided to stay in a B&B instead, especially since it has Internet access. This was like been at home. Bridget and her husband could not have been more accommodating. Room was warm and comfy. Breakfast was grand... More

The Jameson guide found us this b&b and it was perfect! We enjoyed the great service which included a ride to the delicious restaurant Raymonds (which they recommended and made reservations for us). It was raining and we hoped to pub crawl but didn't want to drive...so they graciously offered to provide a ride! We ended up walking back but... More

Bridget was wonderful. This B&B is very clean and very comfy. Free wifi and fantastic rates along with it being in a great location. If you plan on visiting the Jameson Distillery while in Ireland, this is the place to stay. More

We were on route to Tipperary and stopped on spec to see if there was a room. Bridget was very nice, friendly and courteous. I explained I needed wi-fi connection and Bridget made sure we had a room where there was good reception. Wonderful breakfast and place very clean, would stay there again on future visits. Thank you Bridget for... More

I stayed at Oatencake with my wife and parents during a driving tour of Ireland. This is probably the 15th B&B I've stayed in, and by far the best. Bridget is extraordinarily courteous with guests and knowledgeable about the area, and the lodge itself was conveniently located, very clean (also new / modern), and comfortable. The B&B is located within... More

Enjoyed our stay in this pleasant B&B. Loved the fact that parking was no problem. Midleton is a good location as it is quiet yet near to Cork. Tuesday evening in the local pub is amateur musician night which was great fun and not at all touristy. More

As a roadie and driver i stay in about 100 b&b or hotels per year. When your on the road that much, there are several considerations to be made. How easy is the b&b to find, how quiet it is(very important when relaxing after a gig), is it value for money, ease of access late at night, warmth of welcome,... More
