Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Just back from this site after a long weekend. It was incredibly busy. It has a few resident campers that stay here over the summer and they love the site. They say this weekend was busiest they've seen. I've found the facilities we're very good, very clean, site is kept In very good condition. Toilets showers etc all very good. Lots of young families with young children , children were happy and kept busy with the tennis/ basketball court, play area and football pitch out the back. I can't fault this site, we were very happy with it. 2 minutes drive from the town of ballina, half hour from the incredibly ceide fields clifftop coast line, wonderful belleek forest and Iniscrone beach...oh, and Apache pizza deliver to the gate of the site if youre too lazy to cook! Ballina has more to offer as a destination than I expected and I must admit I will be back this year and again in the future. Definitely one of my favourite sites. Mayo is a great tourist destination with very friendly people

Really lovely site, spotlessly clean, very hot showers, lovely grass areas etc. Laundry area, recycling, rubbish, a place to dispose of blue and grey water and fresh water taps throughout the park. It was very peaceful but still had people around you. We were very impressed with all of the facilities you really couldn't ask for anything else. A very successful first time with our caravan 😊

We spent a week here in July 2021. Good facilities, showers and toilets were very clean and there is a basketball/tennis court and play area etc for kids. We really enjoyed the location, we had bikes and cycled lots of places including Belleek Woods and into the local town Ballina. There is a pub/restaurant not too far - possible to walk to it. Good spot to tour from if you have a car as there are plenty of great beaches / harbours - lots of swimming spots. Owner was very friendly and helpful. The sun also shone all week which was particularly helpful!

Not sure why this gets rated as a top site. Facilities ok, pitches small, we were almost touching the awning next door. Paying for showers on top of site costs is not acceptable, not a cheap site and a hot shower should be included in the price. Too far to walk to town , not ideal for Motorhomes

Bit too far from town to walk in. Nice site, facilities were clean. Alot of long term caravans and mobile homes around the park. Owner was friendly. Id stay there again, but it wouldnt be on the top of my list.

Toilets and showers clean and as Covid safe as is possible. There were outdoor dish washing facilities which was excellent - the owner was almost always visable on his regular rounds which gave a great sense of security. Overall yes I would go back.

Not welcome unless you are a previous customer. I paid for a pitch, electric and awning. 3 adults and 3 children. I was directed to a pitch. When the awning was almost erected, Joe the owner said my awning was not a standard awning and I was occupying too much space. He said he wouldn't be able to sell the pitch beside us. There was no grass area there to sell. That wasn't my fault. There was no green area beside it anyway. There was another customer who made sure to park on it as were landed!! Joe said that was only temporary, when I enquired. The car stayed there the entire time. I wasn't going to be sharing my pitch with another motorhome anyway. I asked him would I move and he keep repeating that he would be losing money but stay there and that he had customers staying here for years. I don't know how I was upsetting them so much!! I was so hurt. I am still baffled as to what he wanted me to do and what set he took on me and my family. It ruined my bank holiday weekend. He never approached us after that even when he saw us packing up to leave. I will never be returning again!!!!

Family-run 4* caravan park where management and maintenance excels. Toilets, washing-up area, TV room, kitchen etc are kept in excellent condition and are supervised very regularly. A true test of this caravan park is the number of guests that book long-term - even for the full tourist season.

Stayed with campervan for one night. Clean site, with clean toilets. Have to pay for showers. Nice location and plenty of space. Do not have children so not sure what is available for families. Laundry room, didn't use but need to pay for machines. Lady on desk helpful with information

Phil and her husband were extremely helpful to us as it was our first night in our new motorhome. The site is very well maintained and the facilities were spotless. The nearby Beleek woods and the cafe in Beleek Castle courtyard are well worth a visit.
