I arrived late Friday night to a warm welcome of tea and scones. I was there for the Blacksod point challenge triathlon and Hanah got up at the crack of dawn to make sure all the triatheletes got breakfast and catered for everyone after the race out of the good of her heart. The place is a cerdit to her... More

My wife and I had to stay in Belmullet for a wedding recently and off the back of the excellent reviews on TripAdvisor we booked this place. Our wedding was at the north end of the peninsula and the B&B is at the southern end of the peninsula. But after a hard week of work and five hours of driving... More

Tripadvisor reviewers cannot lie - 100% excellent score talks for itself. It is my favourite and best B&B in Ireland. The room was large, spotless clean, beds comfortable, but what really makes this place excellent is its owner. You arrive ad five minutes later you feel you like are best friend with your hostess that treats you like a royal... More

We had the pleasure of discovering Leim Siar unexpectedly last week. My husband, two young sons and I experienced Hannah and Gerrys welcoming hospitality and had a wonderful stay. We arrived at 8pm after a long journey and were greeted with fresh scones and a pot of tea. We were tired and hungry and Hannah kindly offered to feed us... More

This was a wonderful experience in a beautiful place. Hannah was so accommodating and helpful. Not to mention the slagging fun:) The house is well laid out with all of the conveniences including a delicious breakfast. A peaceful and restful location, Ellen insists we return there soon for a longer stay. Steve, Davis, CA More

Drive to the lighthouse at the end of the mullet to the B&B from Belmullet, many signs are in Irish. Pass by hidden white beaches on the Atlantic side and later drive around the North Mayo Sculpture trail on Black Sod Bay. Warm welcomes by the owners, and delicious french toast, eggs and coffee greeted us in the morning. In... More

A place where the famous 'Irish welcome' is alive and well. A warm greeting with tea and fresh scones - that's something you don't get in the typical chain-hotel. Hannah and her happy assistants really looked after us for our stay. Room was spacious, spotless and silent. And the bumper breakfast kept us going all day. After we'd finally managed... More

It is a fantastic B&B, and it is really one of the best ones I have seen in Ireland so far. I stayed here in middle March 2011 and it was start and finishing point of some amazing hiking trips in Co. Mayo. I had a great time here at a beautiful place surrounded by the sea. Black Sod Bay... More
