we found the address on first attempt although it seems to be in the middle of nowhere. A really warm welcome with homemade scones and cookies made us feel really welcome. The view from our room was breathtaking. The little hare jumping around our car the next morning was just one of the highlights. I asked Jimmy if I might... More

My sister and I had stayed two nights at Coill An Rois and had we not had an itinerary, would have stayed longer! Jimmy, our host, made us feel welcome on arrival and by the time we left, we felt like old friends. He is friendly and funny and his breakfasts are beyond compare. "Pampered" is the way we both... We stayed there for one night in April 2013. The B&B is located a little far from Dingle town center. But for people who are used to living in a loud and noisy city the B&B's location offers a quiet and calm experience of nature! Also if you want to take the Slea Head Drive, the B&B is just at... You feel like home in this b&b thanks to Jimmy, the owner. Strong Irish accent and also Irish hospitality! We ate lots of muffins, we made scones, and we taste Baylies Irish Porridge with a full Irish breakfats. Kust in the dingle way, a perfect place for walkers, just before attempiting the Mount Brandon pass. highly recommended!

Host/Chef Jimmy was very charming and entertaining. We regrettably didn't opt to eat dinner in. Even so, Jimmy transported us to and from a local restaurant after calling a few to see what was open. Breakfast was great, including home-made scones and baked goods. Accommodations and service were excellent.

My husband and I stayed in August 2012, and of the three B&B where we stayed, this was our favorite! Highly recommend! It's not far from downtown Dingle and is very peaceful and welcoming. When we visit again, we will be making a reservation at Coill An Rois.

This place is quintessentially Irish: the best hospitality, a gorgeous country view, a real adventure to get there - and the warmest of welcomes. We spent hours talking with Jimmy about life, family, everything. And he has done such an amazing job keeping the place up. It is really clean and comfortable - but he is what makes the place... I must say that getting to this location was a bit tough. Mostly due in part to complete and utter darkness and long winding roads. However, being the adventurers my boyfriend and I are, we did not mind getting a smidge lost and quite frankly the whole trip in itself was an adventure. (We drove nearly the entire trip). Jimmy... We first stayed here in 2006 after we drove over Connors Pass and then the fog moved in. We decided to find a B&B on the Dingle side. We drove out to Jimmy's and he greeted us so warmly that we have been back on all 4 trips to Ireland! We just stayed with him in October and had a... More

First the only downside relates to its location. One is well served to first locate the B & B duing daylight hours. The B & B is about 10km outside of Dingle in a pastural setting. The drive is pleasant and fun. Upon arrival to Jimmy's place you are greeted immediately as a friend and this continued throughout our three... More
