Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Wonderful hospitality and location. Beautiful outlook and great sized rooms. Breakfast was great and it was nice being only a short distance out of town. Very clean and comfortable bed. Lovely couple running the B & B and was great to practice our Irish! Would stay again

We stayed for 2 nights here. It's located on the coastal road just a couple of hundred yards from Ventry harbour and pub. Ventry itself is a tiny place. We had a sea view room with a super view of the sheltered bay and then across to the next peninsula. A car is pretty essential here to explore the area, particularly the Slea Head drive which is very scenic, around the westernmost point of Europe. Friendly and welcoming host (Jackie). This B&B is a converted house, and we could hear some noise from other guests - either thin walls, or noisy guests! Very good breakfast in a charming setting, and the breakfast room also has great views across the bay and peninsula. A word of warning when trying to find this B&B, as Ventry isn't on any local signposts, just the Gaelic name of "Ceann Tra".

A wonderful accommodation in a wonderful location. Very helpful and friendly hostess. Very spacious bedroom with comfortable beds. Scrumptious breakfast with a vast variety of different dishes to choose from. A great welcoming reception from Peggy the donkey when we first arrived here! Would highly recommend this property and will definitely be returning here.

The B&B is situated near Ventry bay and offers a magnificent view over it. Jaqueline the owner is a wonderful, funny and warm-hearted person. Our room was a little bit small and run down. It was quite clean but there was a strange musty smell in our room and the hallway. The B&B, inside and out, needs modernizing and a groundskeeping. Breakfast was really good but nothing special. You can choose from a variety of breakfast options. It is a shame that the building is not up to date because the location with its outstanding views and the delightful owner is very good.

A last minute booking with Jacqueline and what a pleasure it was. An excellent B&B. Our room was very clean, comfortable and a breakfast which would put any 5* hotel to shame. Jacqueline is a wonderful host. Not enough stars for rating this B&B. Very few hosts welcome tourists in the unique way that we were welcomed at Torann Na Dtonn. Without doubt, the next time I am staying in the Dingle area it will be with Jacqueline at Torann Na Dtonn..... Paddy Melia, Trim, County Meath.

The views are absolutely stunning from Torann Na Dtonn. The room was a decent size but we didn't really need both a full size and twin bed for the two of us. The owner's suggestions were very helpful, and breakfast was nice, especially the brown bread. Overall, it was exactly what we needed and the right price too at 40 euro per person. It's a perfect spot if you have a car and want to do the beautiful loop out to the end of west dingle. There are tons of little spots to hike to and explore and it's beautiful during sunset. I would highly recommend that drive if you are in Dingle!

Four of us (two couples) spent two nights here. This b & b is in the Gaeltacht (an Irish-speaking part of the country) and we heard the language being spoken conversationally during our stay. Accordingly, We received a very warm "céad míle fáilte" (one hundred thousand welcomes) and were treated very courteously throughout our stay. The breakfasts were good and plentiful. We were also given some helpful advice on places to visit. The accommodation was clean and the beds were comfortable. And the view from the dining room was stunning. However, the rooms were extremely small (we were unable to find a power point in ours) and I was glad that we had allowed our subscription to the Irish Association of Cat Swingers to lapse. We also became aware five minutes before we were planning to leave that credit cards weren't accepted. We were able to pay part of the bill from our available cash before having to dash into Dingle to the nearest ATM (five miles away) and returning with the balance. In fairness, there was a notice on the back of the door of our room (not a very big one, mind you!) and Jacqueline was totally trusting about our driving off still owing her money.

Disappointing stay, starting with owner not able to offer us a second night owing to her own incompetence - just as well as the B&B she posted us to was much better - wishing we'd spent both nights there! The rooms are thrown together in a cramped way, old equipment, very poor bedding. Reception / breakfast room isn't clean - if you wanted some prunes, there were only 9! Website was 2 years out of date as were the prices...

This is a very comfortable house in a special place. Stunning views of Skelligs changing with big skies at breakfast and evening light. Great location close to best beach in Ireland derrynane with cultural sites and water sports. Ideal for touring. Off the beaten track. Super for walkers. Feel like a local with the inside track. Loved it.

Tried to book here as looked lovely and was advertised as pet friendly. Informed after the booking that the dogs would have to sleep in a garden shed. They're pets, not working dogs. Very disappointed and cancelled booking.
