Situated about a minutes walk from the harbour, excellent central location. From the moment we walked through the door, we were met with an exceptional Irish welcome from the receptionist. Nothing was too much trouble and she was willing to offer all sorts of recommendations for things to do, see and visit. She suggested The Boatyard for dinner....and she was... More

I stayed here over the May Bank Holiday. On arrival the manager was more than accomodating and pleasant. We arrived early as we had a wedding that day and eventhough it was well before check in time - the manager did not pass any comment and ensured that our rooms were fully ready. The rooms are very very clean, beds... More

Came here with a couple of friends and it catered for us brilliantly. On arrival we were greeted to our rooms, Rooms were large and we were one of the lucky few to have gotten a room with a view! There is something about Dingle that seems to distil the essence of Kerry when compared with the elegance of Kenmare and the somewhat crassness of the jewel in the crown that is Killarney. This was my third or possibly fourth visit to Dingle and this time I looked forward to the experience of being here over New Year. My accommodation... More

Stayed in over New Year's Eve. The other guests were predominantly there for the nightlife - everyone in their 20s and early 30s. No problem with noise though. Good points: Welcoming staff, great location within walking distance of the town, nice decor in lobby. Bad points: It was absolutely freezing - the heating was centrally controlled and the rooms were... More

I stayed at The Dingle Harbor Lodge with my husband and infant daughter for 2 nights in May. We really enjoyed it. Simple, clean rooms. The Lodge was recommended by Rick Steves, and it was a great value indeed. The proprietor, Trish, was very accommodating. She made our stay great! Excellent travel advice & hospitality. We really enjoyed the delicious... More

We stayed at the Dingle Harbour Lodge for one night on our travels around Ireland. Was a last minute find for us as we arrived into the town at about 4:30pm and I did a quick run into four places and found this place the most welcoming of all. Short but very lovely walk down to the town centre. The... More

Oct. 5 & 7,2012 drove into Dingle; off season so lodging no problem, right-- wrong; last weekend of season and a big food festival; "no room in the inn" everywhere in Rick Steves suggestions; Dingle Harbour Lodge also has duplex houses behind the lodge that are small but perfect for a short stay; could walk to town thus avoiding the... This was our first night in Ireland and we had made the drive from Dublin so we were tired when we got in. We were welcomed and the room was spacious for two adults and two teens. Great advice for supper which was within walking distance. Lots of parking. We got up early and drove the Loop before the traffic... More
