While visiting our daughter in Cork, we took a 2 day trip to visit Beara, Dingle, and the Ring of Kerry peninsulas. We stayed at Alpine for just one night, and we were happy to have a quiet, clean, and spacious triple room. We slept well, in spite of a raging storm outside. A happy Aussie type dog greeted us... The Alpine Guesthouse is very nice, easy to reach by car, yet within short walking distance to restaurants and pubs. The staff was friendly and helpful. There was a full breakfast with good variety. Our room was fairly large, with a desk and space for luggage. More

Situated a five minute walk from main commercial street, this three story B&B is rather large compared to others in the area but still provides a quiet atmosphere next to the harbor. Ample breakfast selections served by pleasant staff. While missing the more personal feel of a smaller B&B, the rooms are clean and comfortable and baths have plenty of... More

My wife and I stayed here while on vacation through Ireland for 2 nights. The place is set up much like a hotel, without a lot of personal touches. We did meet the aforementioned Paul on our last breakfast right before check out. He was very nice, but the rest of the time, there was no one there. Location is... More

We stayed one night in a very spacious room. Of all the B&B's we stayed in, this felt more like a hotel since it was so large. We had a wonderful breakfast and received fantastic advice on places to look at on our way to our next destination from Paul. The bed was a little hard for my taste but... More

Our family of four enjoyed our stay at the Alpine Guest House. The owner, Paul, is very friendly and welcoming. The hotel is a block from the center of town and has large comfortable rooms. Breakfast was ample and delicious. A great place to stay in a beautiful corner of Ireland. More

Out of all the places we stayed Kirstin, the girl who checked us in, was the most helpful. She took out a map and marked places on it for us. She even set up a private tour of Dingle Bay for us which was great! The house was lovely and breakfast was very nice--all the usual Irish items! Location was... More

I stayed here with a tour for 2 nights. The rooms were spacious, breakfast was delicious and the service was lovely. My group returned from a tour in the driving rain. Paul, who runs the Alpine, dried out our wet clothes! It was such a treat! More

The staff were neither very knowledgeable nor friendly despite a recommendation from Rick Steves'. We never saw the owners in the 3 days that we stayed there. There is no elevator, so be prepared to carry your luggage up 2 flights of stairs. We go for B & Bs because of the personal touch we get from the locals. This... More

Alpine House was a great location in Dingle. We could easily walk to town. Paul and his staff were very helpful with restaurant recommendations, things to do and even with the time of the church service. Nice breakfast, clean rooms and great staff made our stay very pleasant. More
