This hostel has a great location on a side street in the city center. There is plenty of free parking outside (at least in April). The guy running the place was friendly, although sometimes I had a hard time finding him. I spent a day driving around the Dingle Peninsula and when I returned I found my room door propped... More

Many hostels skimp on comfortable furnishings. Not so at Hideout Hostel. Eleanor recently replaced the beds and made sure that my husband and I got one. It was great! She also ensured that our two teens were placed in the dorm room next door so we could have some privacy. My husband really liked the granola served at breakfast and... More

Fabulous hostel. Friendly staff, warm rooms, good wi-fi, lovely lounge area to chat / check e-mail, relaxed atmosphere. The hostel is spotlessly clean. A simple breakfast is included, our room (4-bed dorm) had an ensuite. All in all, highly recommended.

Lovely Hostel in a great location. wifi worked in our room. Staff were friendly and informative. I think this place was a guest house before it was a Hostel. The room was very clean. The Kitchen was well equipped and had everything to cook a meal. We got a nice piece of monk fish and a nice bottle of wine... More

Arrived here with friends from Killarney. The Hideout was only a minutes walk from the bus stop. Staff were friendly and gave good advice on where to go for drinks and where to hire bikes the next day. It good kitchen with all the usual. There was a good breakfast in morning by hostel standards. The Hostel is very clean.

We came to Dingle for the other voices. This place was perfect. Location, your only 2 minutes form the main street. Great kitchen , supermarket is only down the street. loved the sitting room with the open fire. Michael was a great host

There were 2 of us that stayed in a 4-bed dorm, but since it was slow season, it was basically a private room. The nice thing about this shared room was the bathroom was private to this 4-bed dorm. The guy running the place was ok, not unfriendly, but he's the first person that wouldn't let us see the room... More

Very good, clean, quality hostel. I's in a quiet side street but very near to the harbour, restaurants, pubs, etc. You can park in the street outside if you're travelling by car, but you won't need a car in Dingle, it's quite compact. The room we were given was well appointed, with proper wardrobe, bedside tables and dressing table, plus... More

The Hideout Hostel was the best part of my trip to Ireland. The owner, Mihal, and staff (Eleanor, Chuck) make this a truly remarkable place. It will feel like home, not a hostel. It is located 2 min from the main street in Dingle and about 30 seconds from the grocery store (SuperValu) and several of Dingle's best restaurants and... More

Stayed in this hostel for 2 nights this week. Travelled with my boyfriend and three friends. Rang ahead to book rooms - absolutely no problem at all. We had a private double en suite and thought that the €25pp per night was reasonable. Definitely feels more like a guest house than a hostel. One small complaint... When we arrived, we... More
