A enjoiable place to stay and to visit Kerry area. We rented Pa's cottage (no B&B service) and we arrived worried about to arrange dinner and breakfast. No need to worry: Anne rent houses full of everything: coffee included! Cottages are full option equipped and they are veryclean Our children felt in love for hences in the garden, taking each... Anne our host was most enjoyable, responsive, and humorous. We arrived after a day long drive and enjoyed a nice hike about in the farmlands. Her house is very clean and comfortable. She made a nice breakfast to order the next day and we really couldn't have wanted for anything else. Her beautiful cottages next door would be a great... More

Pa's Cottage was a delight to stay in with only the three of us; clean, comfortable, nicely situated in the Kerry area and a very friendly and welcoming host and hostess. More

We spent the nicest week immersed in a heady mix of countryside, rugged coastal drives, fantastic eateries(in Kenmare- not to mention the home baked breads and apple tart generously provided by the world’s greatest host- Anne) and most importantly the perfect location to relax, shake off the city and recharge the batteries . I would go back tomorrow if circumstances... More

My husband and I stayed at Doire Farm (self-contained) cottage for three nights in June. It was a last minute booking as we decided to travel around Ireland without pre-booking accommodations from home beforehand. We booked the cottage only a day or two before arriving, and were definitely not disappointed when we arrived. It has everything you would need -... More

We booked our stay in John's cottage for our first trip to Ireland. We had the best vacation ever and the cottage made it perfect. The cottage was clean and equipped with all the latest modern appliances. It was spacious and private, not a cramped room. It was in the most beautiful country setting with a yard and picnic table.... More

Strategically located at a short distance from Kenmare from where the Beara peninsula as well as Iveragh and the Mangerton Mountains can be explored, we - a family of two adults and three teenagers- rented a cottage at Doire Farm. The cottage was very nice and well equipped with three spacious en-suite bedrooms, one of which even had a jacuzzi.... More

We stayed in one of the self-catering and had a great time - just chilling out after our own season wound down. I was apprehensive of staying at someone's else's accommodation but Anne and her family were just the ticket and I ended up making notes on what I needed to do to improve our place!! Peace and quiet certainly... More

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at Doire Farm for three days in September and we thoroughly enjoyed our time here, especially owing to this down-to-earth family, who taught us so much about the culture of the Irish. We were entertained nightly by young Maria, who serenaded us with her accordion and told us what it is... More

We have just got back today from a week in Pa's Cottage. Everything you could wish for is there - character, comfort, atmosphere and wonderful hospitality from the Anne and her family - and Scruffy the dog! Very well located so you can tour all the peninsulas and return to Kenmare for great food and entertainment in the evenings. Worth... More
