We have stayed at the Abbey Court many, many times now and each time is as good as the last time. Brendan and his family know the room we want, how we like our cuppa and even how we like our eggs done know. The rooms are immaculate and the beds soo comfortable. What more can I say, but this... Our family of four enjoyed our overnight stay at Abbey Court and wished we had planned to stay for two nights! The house itself is in a beautiful setting, has comfortable rooms and is easy to find. Brendon and Ger were wonderful hosts. Kenmare itself is a lovely town - we could have easily spent another day exploring and shopping.

Wow! Wow! Wow! what a awesome place to relax in, the views are unforgetable!I could spend the whole vacation just sitting in the patio drinking wine and watching the sea swell in and out. The place is fantastic, rooms are well appointed, good showers, coffee plentiful, ample parking. In the morning we were awoken by the birds singing. Brendan and... More

Kenmare is a great town to use as a base for multiple nights - great access to Beara Peninsula, Ring of Kerry, Killarney and Dingle. One of our favorite times was taking a hike 20 minutes away at Gleninchaquin Park - simply breathtaking! Brendan and Ger are gracious hosts - offering travel advise and good conversation - they represent friendly... More

Our four night stay at Abbey Court was a delightful experience. Brendan and Ger are lovely hosts and extended a warm greeting. After we were served coffee and shortbread cookies, Ger took time to explain sites to see in and around Kenmare. The exquisite sitting rooms at Abbey Court exemplify a serene place to relax with various reading material and... More

We were really looking forward to out trip to the abbeycourt based on the many great reviews and it did not disappoint. When we arrived Brendan greeted us warmly with coffee and carrot cake. Our oom was well appointed and the shower had great water pressure and plenty of hot water. The view from the room and seating areas was... More

We stayed at Abbey Court for two nights towards the end of our trip to the west and south coasts. We chose it for the location and the family apartment as we were travelling with our two teen-aged children. The location was great--very near Ring of Kerry, Beara Peninsula, and Molls Gap. Our itinerary got a bit disjointed because the... More
