Whilst living on the other side of the world in Australia, it has been a long term dream of ours, to tour Ireland. Both my wife and I, were delighted to stay at ‘Rockcrest House’. We would highly recommend this superb B&B to all. Set on stunning scenery, it offers large comfy rooms, a great brekkie and is conveniently located... More

We were traveling with two teenage grandchildren over the thanksgiving break and stayed 3 nights here while touring and Christmas shopping in Kenmare. The B&B is very conveniently located to downtown Kemare but gave us a sense of being in the country. We felt more like family than tourist and on the one stormy day when we stayed in we... More

We arrived at Rockcrest B&B on our 5th day in Ireland for a two night stay.... And we could not have been more delighted. David greeted us warmly upon arrival and showed to a fantastic room with a large bay window facing a pastoral view of sheep and hillsides. We were awed. Marian was so attentive and delightful as our... More

What can you say about a B&B that feels like home! It's cozy and warm. Marion, is without a doubt one of the most conscientious hosts in Ireland. Here's an example: We had arrived during the dinner hour and we're hungry and tired. Marion, answered the door and greeted us with a welcoming smile. She showed us our room and... More

Kenmare was one of the only single overnights of our trip. What a pity because Rockcrest House is spotless, very comfortable and handy to town. David was a charming, greeting host. We felt spoiled by Marion at breakfast. We enjoyed that pleasant sense of staying with friends. A very pretty place. More

We are 5 friends who stayed here for 4 nights in October. 3 of us are from the US and 2 are from the UK : we chose to meet in Ireland as none of us had ever been here before. We were not disappointed! Kenmare is a beautiful bustling little town ideally situated to explore the Ring of Beara... More

The house is located about 5 minutes walk outside of Kenmare, with a fantastic view to the nearby mountains. Rockcrest House has a nice atmosphere, there are a lot of lovely details. We booked the King Double room, which we absolutely recommend. It has a panorama window and the interior is high quality. The owners are really friendly and helpful.... More

We stayed for 2 nights: in October 2011 with 2 adults. We chose a two night stay to allow a paced time to explore both Killarney area and the Ring of Kerry. Our initial impression of Rockcrest House was favorable. This B&B is on a quiet lane not far from town. Our hosts Marian and David were solid hosts. David... More

Rockcrest was relatively quiet especially with a room on top floor, but the wind was blowing open the front door and slamming it, so think it has a locking problem. could be a little noisy downstairs only if socializing is going on in common room, but with door closed it is better. our friend who had a single room downstairs...
