It was rather like staying at a vicarage. I parked my bicycle around the back and was met in the kitchen by the staff who showed me around. We stayed here one night while we were riding along the Ring of Kerry. Well positioned in the town of Kenmare, with a bicycle parking in the rear courtyard, it's a really nice hostel, good value! The hostel is just wunderfull and feels very comftable. We had a four bed-room for the two of us and there was plenty of space. The room was not on-suit but we had a washbasin.

It is very well located. We stayed in a private room, and it was very spacious, and clean. The dinning area and kitchen was nice and had all the facilities. It would be perfect if it would have towels and wifi conexion.

I stayed here in June for 3 nights while cycling in the wild Kerry countryside and hiking one of the days with some friends. Lovely clean hostel, town centre location. Hosts are very friendly and enjoy a chat. Kenmare is a great town and a good base for discovering Beara or South Kerry.

4 bed dorm big and light with 2 nice beds rather than bunks (get there early!). Plenty of common room and kitchen space, and very close to town.
