Unlike other reviewers, we were disappointed with this B&B. The bathroom should have been cleaner. Our bed sheets were worn threadbare. The pastries were excellent, though. More

This B&B is right on the Ring of Kerry. A 5-10 minute walk to the heart of Kenmare via a lighted path. The owner is a pastry chef so be sure to try some. These are not included in the rate but well worth it. Be sure to try the lemon tart - excellent. Very helpful with suggestions for pubs... More

We were booked into this B&B by a friend who lives closeby, and as a gay couple I am dubious about B&Bs and dealing with some people predjudises who own them. I prefer to stay in Hotels. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel very welcome and Although the owner questioned the double bed booking, it was... More

Great hospitality and very nice people. Tidy place. The breakfast is a high point! If you're traveling as a couple, have one person choose the Irish breakfast and the other pastries. Close walk to town. More

Our stay at Rose Cottage couldn't have been nicer. The rooms are comfortable, with roomy and modern bathrooms en suite. The real highlight of the stay, though, is the food produced in the in-home cafe and bakery. The owner, trained as a French chef, bakes delicious cakes, tarts, breads, and pastries of all sorts daily. The place is clean; the... More

Chose to stay here based on other reviews we had read. Good proximity to the town and pretty from the outside. Inside, the decor was dated and lacked the personal touch that other B&Bs we have stayed in offered. The owner was pleasant but quite reserved and not much chat! Rooms offered the basics and were clean. We had been... More

Nice food, dated rooms and owners seemed like they were too busy to talk and offer help on local sites More

We made reservations for 5 rooms for our group of 9 and stayed three nights. The new owners (since 2010), Vladimira and Jerome, made wonderful, friendly and pleasant hosts. They went out of their way to make us feel at home. We were welcomed (arriving from the Cork Airport) with coffee and enjoyed delicious pastries. Jerome is a French pastry... More

The owners made us feel very welcome and always had a smile and a greeting and nothing was too much trouble for them. There is ample off road parking within a large garden. Rooms were very clean and breakfast was excellent, as were the scrumptious pastries baked on the premises. Kenmare town centre is less than a 10 minute walk, so... More

The Rosegarden B&B is delightful, and it is also unique because it is part of a French bakery and cafe. Jerome is the French chef and Vladimira seems to be in charge of everything else. They make a great team, and they work very hard to keep their customers happy. Our room was in the back, very quiet. It was... More
