Our room was very large with fine furniture and a comfortable bed. Water pressure was very good. Staff were helpful and gracious. The only problem is that if you get a room near the mechanical room, you can hear the pump go off and on all night. The location is not right in town. We drove the short distance to... More

My husband and I stumbled upon The Lodge when the Rick Steves recommended B&Bs in Kenmare were full. And what a treat!! Rosemarie was a delightful host and although this was one of the more expensive B&Bs we stayed in, it was also one of the nicest. The room was gorgeous and the mattress was great. Breakfast in the morning... More

What an enchanting place to stay! We were in Kenmare for 4 nights and really enjoyed our stay at The Lodge. We were treated with the warmest hospitality imaginable. The rooms are large and comfortable, and we felt like it was worth the money to stay at such a nice place. The breakfast was excellent and they were also happy... More

We stayed here aug 2010. Kenmare is a great town and this guesthouse is a short walk from the center of the town. The rooms and bathroom are fine and Irish breakfast was decent. All in all satisfactory. More

Four star standard, I had a massive suite with huge bath and gorgeous four-poster bed all for an amazing price of €40 per night. Safe in wardrobe, luxurious furniture - a four star experience at a budget price. The breakfast is amazing - make sure you don't miss out! Also has Wi-fi :) More

Great place it is a sister property of the landwoner hotel in Kenmare. It does seem more of a small hotel than a B & B would be. Not somebodys home is what I mean. But the rooms and baths were huge compared to most B & B we stayed in on our travels. The breakfast was great. Glad we... More

This guesthouse offers a very high standard of accommodation at very reasonable rates. The bedroom was very well appointed - each room was named after a garden flower, a nice touch. The breakfast was delicious served just as requested with some lovely home baking. The location is very good just a short stroll from the town centre with its variety... More

The lodge is somewhere between a B&B & Inn - not quite as intimate as a B&B, but not as many services as an inn. Were we to go back to Kenmare, we would probably choose elsewhere, not because of any problem at the Lodge, but because we might like more service for our kids (e.g., restaurant for snacks). That...
