Ok at first glance this is a very small pub with rooms to let. Look loser and its a warm, friendly place that serves up a brilliant breakfast made to order. Rooms are small but very clean. Staff are so pleasant and helpful. Brought my 4 year old grandson with us here for 2 days and there was a park... More

Good value and good position. The rooms were clean and spacious and the bathroom was not the usual tiny closet you get in most hotels. Lovely shower and lots of hot water. Staff friendly and helpful. Plenty of good eating places nearby. Enjoyed breakfasts especially Steve's poached eggs. Food cooked when ordered. Only downside was the pillows which need throwing... More

Complaints first - car park full, the free WiFi wasn't available in our room (we were told it would be), the remote for the TV was missing (although they found us one) there were no reading lights, the noise from the smoking area made it impossible to get to sleep, it was rather cold. The good things - the musical... More

We had a hard time finding a room at the last minute in Carmarthen, and found the Drover's Arms on an internet hotel site. The rooms are simple, and small, but clean, and there was parking behind the hotel. Breakfast was very good, and the pub was full of colorful locals. We enjoyed our stay (although it was very cold... For £56 including two hearty freshly cooked breakfast and a welcoming smile from all staff you cannot complain. We went to bed at 10:30pm, but could not get to sleep for what seemed like hours, because of the noise coming from the bar's smoking area. If you joined in with the singing and guitar playing, you could have had jolly... More

The staff were friendly and welcoming. We had a large double room and large bathroom. The shower was over the bath but very powerful and easily adjustable. We could alter the heating to our liking and had a very comfortable nights sleep. A substantial breakfast, which was cooked to our request. We booked this at very short notice and were... More
