Spent just one night here on a recent visit to North Wales. The location is an old farmhouse which has been modernised and extended. The owner Polly is very friendly and welcoming and we were invited to treat her house like home. A particular attraction for us was that our bedroom had an annex where our daughter could sleep sharing... More

Definitely deserving of all the positive reviews we read before booking and definitely somewhere to stay if you want a lovely place, out of town. Polly went out of her way to help out when we realised that we had left one case containing all our toiletries at home, did some necessity shopping for us when she did her grocery... More

We arrived in the dark, and just using the postcode in your satnav will not take you there, you need to include the name. But this is my one and only negative about Bronchoed Uchaf country house. Upon arrival warmly greeted by the owner, Polly who went out of her way to make us feel comfortable and this continued throughout... More

Forget the "not easy to find" and other moans about where this place is and think about staying in a delightful little farm house B&B which is, quite literally, in the "middle of nowhere" and we promise you'll love Broncoed Uchaf. We stayed recently (December 2012) after visiting Chester for a Christmas shopping trip and yes, if you miss the... More

Myself, Husband and 10 month old son stayed here for two nights Saturday 4th- Monday 6th August. The house is beauiful, lots of communal space to sit and enjoy the views with a good book. The garden is also gorgeous, unfortunately for us we didn't really get a chance to use this due to the weather. The rooms are fantastic,... More

Myself, Husband and two friends stayed here in June 2012. What a fabulous place. Peaceful, friendly, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Polly the owner could not have done any more to make our stay a special time. Although, the guest house itself is oldie worldly the rooms are very modern and spacious. Would recommend this place to anyone.

What a discovery! The friendly helpful attitude started from the moment we made an enquiry about booking and the welcome Polly provided was second to none.. including a real fire lit especially for us! Our room was a delight - the highest standards of bedding, hygiene and furnishings but without any fussiness. We were able to buy a very reasonably priced... More

A really warm and friendly welcome awaits at the end of the farm track. The house feels like home quickly and the rooms are spec'd out very nicely. The fires are lit, the food is great ( Polly nips out to get the breakfast eggs from the chickens) and the garden is splendid. Only minor gripe (and it is teeny... More
