We only stayed overnight but the hotel was clean, with a spacious room which had all the usual good facilities. Disappointed to find the restaurant was not open in the evenings . Breakfast was buffet and adequate. More

We stayed 3 nights in a group of 4 couples, and formed a different opinion from the previous reviewers. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were a reasonable size and the breakfast was excellent. We had no problem with noise, perhaps because our rooms were located away from the bar (which wasn't busy, despite the InterBoot event). More

My wife and I spent one night there on business. Reception staff unfriendly at check-in and check-out. Rest of staff also unfriendly. Superior rooms are very small with two beds arranged cross-wise. Bathrooms tiny. at Euro 149 totally overpriced. Breakfast sub-standard. More

This hotel is like a really clean Super 8 from the 70's with a better bed. All in all, fine, as far as a place to sleep is concerned - unless you wind up in room 115 or nearby. There is no a/c, so you will want the windows open on a warm evening. But the hotel bar serves outside... More

the place is one of teh oldest in the city... but is also teh newest in terms of decor and look and feel...the best part of the hotel is its location- right in the center of the downtown ...what i did not like is the size of the rooms.. really really small...and if you happen to get a single bed...you... There's a major issue with the restaurant 1. You cant eat dinner in the restaurant on the day of your arrival. 2. You have to order 24hours in advance from a no choice fixed menu. 3. You can't change or cancel without being charged. 4. The very good breakfast remains unaffected. More

My husband stayed here for 2 weeks on business and I joined him for the middle weekend. We stayed in two different rooms, the first a twin which was fine but nothing special, and then we were moved to a double which was nicer and had air conditioning. All hotel staff were friendly and efficient. The breakfast was amazing, with... More

Was there for 3 weeks in May: Trip was booked by my employers so I stayed in the what must have been the least expensive room, small, clean, modern, inside view and adequate for my needs. I can not say really anything negative about that but if I was paying for a larger room, I would have liked a bit... More

We have just had 5 nights in Friedrichshafen at the City Krone. It was very central, clean and great breakfast included. It was very hot that week and there is no cooling airconditioning so it was a bit hot in the rooms though they provided us with a fan. It was also a bit noisy as it is on a... More
