As the most recent reviews of this property affirm, this is a very nice, peaceful place to stay - just as pleasant an experience for the single traveller (as I am) as for a small family or a couple. I stayed there recently for two nights over Easter - and although I was the only person there, the welcome I... More

Hosts Renza and Luigi surprised us with exuberant greetings on our arrival & departure. GPS users beware that there is a Via Bolzani 19 in Padua which is not this Covo...use Via Bolzani 19 in Due Carrare, 35020 Padua. This place and it's hosts are real treasures.. Wonderfully constructed, quality furnished farmhouse. Spacious rooms, bright, clean, overlooking fields. Access controlled... More

Located off the beaten track, a car is essential. This is a wonderful farmhouse with very good quality furnishing and rooms. Your given a key and a remote control to operate the gate. We arrived en route for Venice. Renza (the owner) suggested going by train from Montegrotto station (10 minutes away) and gave us complimentary tickets, we just had... More

I stayed at Covo with my family (including three older children) in July 2011. The home is 15 minutes away from the lovely city of Padua, and about 35-40 away from the beaches of Chioggia. Renza and Luigi were absolutely wonderful hosts - the breakfast was great and their home (and hospitality) was a welcome respite from the humid Veneto... More

Renza and her husband are great hosts. The house is gorgeous, beautiful garden, a splendid breakfast. We were surprised by the hospitality not imagine finding a place so welcoming! Guided us with maps, places to visit and the location is excellent. We went to Padua to Venice by train while being with the rental car was so great that the... More

We stayed here for 6 nights in October, 2010 and loved the experience. The location is about 20 miles from Venice. Although we had a car and did a lot of driving to see nearby attractions, we took the train to Venice and it was just soooo easy. The B&B is in the country about 2 miles from the nearest... More

Our stay at this B and B was beyond all expectations...we were treated as special guests and never, ever were wanting for anything from expresso to incredibly prepared breakfasts to advice on little known sights (with maps and directions included). Our hostess Renza, although possessing only a little english, had no difficulty communicating through her very genuine desire to make... More

We only stayed at Covo dell'Arimanno for one night, as a resting place on our way from Modena to Venice, however, we enjoyed the time we spent there very much, and at 60 Euros for one night it is a great value. Renza, our hostess and co-owner of the property, is very charming and welcoming and did everything to make... More
