On a motoring run from Barcelona to Cherbourg stayed at Niort. Well located fror an overnight stop about an hour north of Bordeaux.. Charming relatively small town with attractive narrow streets and interesting buildings and many restaurants to choose from.Ibis hotel good value for money with friendly staff and private parking. Easy access to motorway.

Have stayed at a lot of Ibis hotels and this hotel was not up to Ibis standards, Hotel had stale cooking smell throughout. No lift,small rooms. Staff were helpful and friendly. Out of town location. Restaurant only fair.

This Ibis hotel provides a good overnight stop when driving between UK and southern Spain. The rooms are small, but they are functional and the hotel is ideally located, being 440miles from the Channel tunnel and close to the motorway.

This Ibis hotel is just what you expect for a hotel for people traveling or working and need accommodation. It is clean has friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are just large enough for a double bed and television and the shower/bathroom just large enough for one person at a time! They have a cafe/bar which I cannot comment on... More
