We stayed at the standard room. Room was small, but cute. Provencal deco. Residential area, you will need a car! Bathroom was good, but no curtain . More

My wife and I really liked the hotel: the room was spacious and very clean, the yard looked very attractive and the restaurant was really on the level. Probably hath staff could be a little less official but it could be a subjective opinion... More

We're not huge fans of Best Western Hotels but La Magnaneraie exceeded all our expectations. We enjoyed our stay approx 10 years ago & always talked about returning. This year a touring holiday gave us the opportunity to revisit for 3 nights what I can only describe as a 'haven of tranquillity'. The hotel is not in the centre of... More

We really enjoyed our stay here. We stayed in a very large room with beautiful old furniture and a view out to the country side. The room was spacious after staying in other tiny hotels in France. The hotel is not in central avignon, but this is perfect if you have a hire car and want to escape the busy... More

I recently stayed here for 4 nights (I originally only planned to stay for 2 nights, however, circumstances led me to stay for longer). The hotel is not in the center of Avignon, making this its only downfall. The room I had was modern, with a king size bed and an actual shower, large enough to even turn around in.... More

We chose this hotel because it came highly recommended by a travel agent friend, but we would not stay here again. The primary reason we would not come back is the location. It is in a really sleepy little town about a 10 minute drive from Avignon. There isn't much to do in the town, so we had to drive... More

We stayed in this hotel for three nights.Lovely room in a very pretty garden setting.Pool area also very good. The manager Paul was very pleasant to deal with. The restaurant area and outdoor setting are lovely but disappointing in the food and service. Breakfast was difficult as the staff didnt seem to be around a lot of the time. We... More

This hotel is proper France and nothing like the cheap/crappy feel of Best Westerns in the UK, It's in the beautiful Villeneuve les Avignon. The pool is deserted in the day due to a lot of guests getting out and exploring meaning you can have your pick of loungers even in summer! The staff are fabulous and the food is... More

We stayed at the Magnaneraie in February 2011. Going off season is great! We were fortunate to book on WWTMS and got a great rate. The hotel is spectacular from the rooms to the grounds, and the staff is great too. The restaurant in the hotel is a little on the expensive side but the food is very delicious and... More

We have just returned from a very relaxing week at La Magnaneraie. The gardens are lovely, pool is well maintained, and the restaurant is fabulous! Friendly but unobtrusive staff looked after us very well. The hotel location is excellent, being across the river from Avignon itself and therefore away from the hustle and bustle. Thoroughly recommend. More
