We had a lovely stay at Castlemead. It's a super-friendly, family-run affair with awesome cliff walks nearby and beautiful views out to the sea from the terrace. Safe, well kept lawn for the kids to play on and a cosy bar restaurant serving locally-sourced home-made grub. We'd go back.

I have just returned from another lovely break at Castlemead and cannot fault the welcome and service. The food was as good as ever and I hit a good spell of weather. What I want to point out, as a few reviewers say it is not a 4 star hotel, is that it is a 4 star restaurant with rooms,... More

We stopped at the castlemead after a long family day at the beautiful manorbier beach. Looking at the menu we were concerned that it may not be right for us, family with an 8 and 6 yr old. We needn't have been. Wonderful (I mean truly lovely) food for us, the kids chose a bespoke meal and the service was... More

A delightful restaurant with amazing views over Manorbier bay on the Pembrokeshire coast. If you are lucky enough to be in this part of Wales, then you really should make an effort to eat at this most friendly family run restaurant. On arrival the welcome is very warm , with a menu offering local produce of a very high standard.... More

Myself hubby and 7 yr old son had a mea here on 29 May. Service was great and food mouthwatering plus the view of the sea just tops it all off. The only thing we found was that one couple get muttering and starring at our son they obviously didnt think kids should be there. Well he was very well... More

as soon as the doors opened out to a beautiful garden my husband and i knew as soon as we saw it with the view of the beach and the church that it would make the most beautiful setting for a wedding with marquee. Lorna and family were very welcoming highly professional and fantastic caterers and the whole family stayed... More

The view is spectacular, the gardens breathtaking and on a sunny day, what a fabulous place to be. The room we stayed in however was tired, with not enough sockets, we had to unplug the single lamp just to plug in a phone charger and then take it out again to use the hair drier. There are no irons provided... More

A lovely small hotel, in a sheltered valley leading to the sea, not far from Tenby. Great food, very accommodating of the kids, a family room close enough to the lounge area that the child monitor reached. Decor a little tired, but all part of the ambience of an old house by the sea.

My wife and myself stayed for 3 nights as my friend held his wedding reception there. The first impression was not so good as the building looked old and run down but we got a very warm welcome. All of the staff were polite, cheerful and very helpful. Our room was in the main building (the rooms in the coach... More

I don't want to be overly critical but the hotel does have a four star rating... On the plus side the service was friendly and helpful, the food was excellent (would go here for a meal again), the bed comfortable and the view stunning. The interior of the hotel was a little bit shabby (not in a chique way). The... More
