Have stayed here as stopover travelling in France on a number of occasions. In past had traditional charm, now modernised rooms have improved comfort, crisp sheets, comfortable beds, good sized bedrooms and bathrooms, private off-road parking. Friendly staff, but friendly cats seem to have gone.

Good location, friendly lady who checked us in, good secure parking, but the room we had was very outdated and not too clean either. Thin walls and doors that only closed after locking them with a key. Perhaps they have better ones, but our room was nowhere near the pictures they put at their website.

Stopped here overnight on way to Italy. At first it looks a bit grubby when you walk in and there s a bit of a damp smell but not too bad. Room was ok if a little dated but after a long day the bed was comfortable. Had a room overlooking the street so it was a bit noisy? Only... More

A very convenient hotel less than a five minute walk to the town centre. Excellent secure parking at the rear. We had a very quiet room at the back overlooking the car park.Apart from the toilet which "blocked" the room was good, although as usual for the French the double bed was 140 cm wide, so quite small. Top Tip:... More

This is just beside the road and good place for travelers taking rest in between day journeys. In front of this facility there is small patch of green field gives a feeling as if you are staying at a resort and the two story building and set up in the room supports that feeling, though continuous sound from speeding vehicles... Friendly staff and comfortable pleasant rooms. Good fast reliable free wi-fi. An unusual flushing system on the toilets that works fine and is simple to operate but will be a little surprise if you haven't had experience of toilets with maceration systems. A quiet location that's a short walk from the town centre with good car parking facilities in the... More

Old fashioned traditional French hotel, centrally situated in the town. Smallish rooms, but clean, and there was a fan (very welcome in the 30 degrees heat!). Welcoming staff. Buffet breakfast. Huge staircase, which sloped so much you felt you were on board ship!! Free private parking round the back. No restaurant, but a very good one next door.

Great place, great homebaked pastries and friendly staff. We recommend the restaurant next door (Little P's) which was classic french food with a modern twist. The town is perfect for a weekend or 1 day stop over and, of course, tasting Champagne!!!

If you want a true french experience with amazing value, this is for you. At 55 euros and 7 euros for breakfast the hotel surpassed all expectations. Yes, it is a bit quirky, you walk through the kitchen to the breakfast room for freshly squeezed orange juice and five different breads along with the usual bits, a nice bright room... More

We stayed at this hotel last Easter as a result of reading a fantastic write-up in a national newspaper. Maybe the journalist was on commission or something. We booked a superior room and were directed to this by the somewhat surly proprietor. The first hint of what was to come was as we opened the bedroom door which was jammed... More
