When we booked this hotel for two nights, we specifically asked for a NON-smoking room. At check-in we were given a clean, tiny, NON-smoking room. We didn't mind the tiny space as we are used to small rooms in Europe. Unfortunately, the room reeked of cigarette smoke! Hotel was full and they could not move us to another room. We... More

Not the biggest room I've ever stayed in but the room we had (called "PINOT") was one with a shower rather than a bath so perhaps those rooms are the smallest. There was everything you needed there and it was fine for a stay of just one night. Perhaps should you be staying for three nights or more you may... More

Wife and I on holiday stayed 2 nights. it’s a pretty hotel in a great village, for wine and for the sheer Alsace village feel though more touristy than many. exterior looks old, but interior thoroughly modernised, yet retaining some individuality. we don't eat breakfast so can only say the coffee e was good but we CAN say the restaurant... We only stayed at the Alsacienne for one night. Room was on the first floor and was fine. Front desk girl was cordial and spoke English well. We parked on the street but there was a parking area in back. Restaurant was closed the night we were there so we had dinner at a cellar in town that was just... More

When we arrived at L'Auberge Alsacienne at about noon, our room wasn't yet ready, which was fine-but when we asked if we could check our bags, the desk clerk told us we could leave them in the lobby, out in the open, in a location where the clerk couldn't keep an eye on them and anyone could see them. Needless... More

Clean, modern rooms with excellcent wireless everywhere. Natural woods keep the rooms from being too business-like. Friendly, English speaking help and very accomodating. Connected to their restaurant which is also very good. Also, they have parking for you car.

Stayed with the in-laws. Rooms a little dated and sparse, but OK. Restaurant good in the evenings but expensive when others within walking distance are exceptional - so a good base to stay and explore Alsace. Breakfast poor - even went next door a couple of times for a far better, more plentiful and cheaper breakfast. Overall OK, but significant... More
