I have visited this hotel, i had a really bad experience with staff here. The owner/receptionist was really rude. Every day asked for money for each night what I have spent there (I have never seen something like before). He was also disturbing me in the room with calling me on phone (also at night when I arrived late and I was already in pygama, ready to sleep). He every single day asked for money. I had to pay always before spent the night there. He was able to talk with me just in Italian, but I was not able to speak with, just in English. He was really rude always, sometimes he was also very angry and screaming with me, when I told him I will pay just before the leave. The service was rude. A nice familj owned Hotel just one street behind the main beach walk/ promenad. The rooms seem to be recently refurnished, comfortable beds, good bathroom and a well working aircondition. Everything very clean. Breakfast is all I want in a Continental breakfast. The "lady of the house" is very, very nice and helpfull, she speaks also fluent german. The daughter speaks a little english. It is possible to rent sunchairs etc at discount at the beach (nr 40) if you have a note from the Hotel. Don't be put off by the reception which also is a typical Italian bar/kiosk. It is the main reception. The Hotel is worth a stay, with the window closed at night it is quite and we have sleept good.
