We made the right decision to stay at Villa Cicolina. It was so beautiful and so private and the staff was really helpful. We decided to stay and eat at the restaurant which was incredible. Afterwards we were given a tour of the wine cellar. The gentleman at the front desk was an expert int he area and full of... More

How to put it...? Villa Cicolina has exceeded our best expectations. We arrived the night of Dec. 30 and were welcomed with warmth by the owners, a typically tuscan family. The family's son led us to our incredibly beautiful room - a dream with views towards vineyards on one side and olive trees on the other. We immediately felt like... More

My husband and I stayed here for one night en route from Rome to Venice, and the only disappointment...we only booked one night. The property is beautiful, an intimate resort in the heart of Tuscany. The gentleman that was working catered to our every need, and we felt like royalty. The grounds are lovely, and very relaxing. One of our... More

My husband & I just returned from our first two week trip to Italy; Rome, Florence and two locations in Tuscany. We had done lots of research beforehand, and were quite excited to arrive at Villa Cicolina, which exceeded our expectations in every way. This is a magical, beautiful place; the photos of the infinity pool illustrate how it is... More

This is one of the nicest places I have stayed in in a long time. It wasn't the "fanciness", although everything was very very nice. It was the little touches and the attention to detail along with the attitude of the staff. The grounds are beautiful, the views are amazing, and the staff jumps through hoops to make you feel... My husband and I stayed in Villa Cicolina (Junior Suite) for 2 nights, our final stay on our Tuscany trip this October. Our suite was decorated beautifully with a lovely canopy bed and the view from the small balcony was stunning. The furnishings are in keeping with an old Italian villa, but there are modern conveniences (wi-fi, TV). A buffet... More

I and my wife stayed 3 nights at Villa Cicolina. As all the rooms in the hotel were occupied we stayed in a cottage meant for 4 persons. The cottage was very rustic - with only a few old chairs, beds etc. but very charming. The view from the cottage was beautiful. To see Tuscany in te morning mist is... More

A great hotel experience starts and ends with the staff. The staff at Villa Cicolina could not have been nicer. Having had a nightmare hotel experience in Rome, and a family mutiny, I was very concerned about going to anything less than a 5 star property in Tuscany. I requested picture upon picture of our suite at Villa Cicolina and... More

We have just returned from villa Cicolina. Having read all the reviews, we were so disapointed. The grounds and garden area where you could have breakfast or dinner was untidy and had rubbish to one side, not a nice place to eat. The paint was peeling off the sides of the jacuzzi and a number of the sun loungers and... More

Thank you for your comment, we will just leave the pictures, posted by our kind TripAdvisor users, to decribe better Villa Cicolina. The only thing to be clearified is: We have 9 people as staff + the two owners ( always in spot ) working with 10 rooms accommodation, which cannot be described as " of which there were not... More

We stayed here for a second time in August 2011 and it was every bit as enjoyable as our first visit. The gardens are very beautiful and the pool area has an incredible view across the Tuscan countryside - you can see Cortona in the distance. We stayed in a junior suite (Le Perle) which was attractively furnished, spacious and... More
