Stayed here on business trip in Dec 2009. Very nice hotel and great value. However Montergrotto is a small spa town and if you wanted a quiet relaxing break with some nice restaurants nearby it is good. You need a car to get to it, so if you were touring it would be fine. When you check-in here you are entering a time-warp. Huge glass shard chandeliers, big pillars, and (unintentionally) kitsch artefacts adorn the reception and bar areas. The hotel was really nice, the pools wonderfull but one of the best things of it all was the staff. They were helpful and friendly. Another great thing was the food. Especially the dinner (including the anti-pasti buffet) was the best I have had in any hotel in Montegrotto.

Deserved 4-stars. Didn't found anything wrong, the room, the service, the cleanliness, buffet breakfast with lots of choices (so far never seen in Italy a huge buffet breakfast like this one!) To use the thermal pools have to pay an additional, was so so nice (specially in winter)... Is close walking distance to the Montegrotto train station where is easy... More
