The hotel is located few streets away from Mestre train station, little hard to walk to as the pedestrian way is obstructed by several car parked on the pedestrian walk and for going up and down crossing the streets, it is not very comfortable but is not a big problem. The hotel it seam to be just renovated and for... More

clean, big bed, adequately heated, average breakfast, average beddings (no duvet-just blankets). Very friendly staff, and average distance from the train station. More

Within an easy walk of the railway station at Mestre, we were delighted by the warm welcome, helpful advice (map of Venice and info on bus tickets and prices provided) and clean modern room. The hotel was comfortable, smart and the breakfast was enjoyable, with a good choice of food. The area around the station is run down and a... More

This is seems to be a privately owned-operated hotel in a residential community. It's very quite at night, since mostly local residents live in the area. The train station is 10-15 min walk away where you can take the #2 bus to Venice and back to the train station. The bus will take about 20 mins both ways, however. Buy... More

This hotel is really trying to do its best. The location is good for people that want to be in Venice, because it's near the bus station. But at night it's not so sympathetic to be around. It is in a very unpleasant neighborhood, so keep that in mind. Also, there isn't too much to do around the location. But... More

We traveled from San Francisco to a family wedding outside of Venice in May 2011. This hotel was the perfect location -- took the bus directly from the airport to the train station (5 euro) and walked the approx 4 blocks to this lovely hotel in a quiet residential area. Close enough for convenience, but a world away from the... More

My husband and I stayed here when we visited Venice. As we weren't going to spend much time in Venice so it didn't make sense to stay on the island itself. We came across ambasciata on trip advisor. The pictures looked ok so we booked it. I am so glad we did. If we ever go back to Venice I... More

But the train and bus station is at the end of the street. convienient for travelling into venice. The english receptionist was amazing, gave us free maps advice and info.
