The Corte Estense in Ferrara was booked on my behalf by a Bologna conference agency (bad mistake! should always rely on TripAdvisor first!). charming hotel in the historic center, friendly staff, tasteful decorated room with modern clean bath, plenty of choices of breakfast buffet, quiet location right next to where the action is: cathedral and castle and shopping and restaurants within 500m.

I really liked this hotel. A very nice, clean room and the location was outstanding with literally a 2 minute walk to the Cathedral and Piazza. Room was quite large as well. Free breakfast in the morning and they even had scrambled eggs! Excellent choice for Ferrara.
