This place is horrible - stayed here on a B&B basis and it probably would have been netter to sleep on the Beach. Needs a complete renovation. I transferred to the sister hotel the Universal and what a difference.

The Hotel Diplomatic is placed directly on Cervia seafront and it overlooks the golden sand beach, which is only around 20 metres away. Its delightful flowering garden is the ideal place to spend your warm summertime evenings, which are made more pleasant by the sea breeze. Our guests are invited to take advantage of the services we offer, such as a panoramic view restaurant, overlooking the sea and offering excellent dishes from international cooking, a TV room, a beautiful swimming pool, a whirlpool and a fitness room in the adjoining Hotel Universal. During summertime, we organise an entertainment service for children, both on the beach and in the hotel. Dogs are welcome. The rooms are simply furnished but functional. They have TV, safe-deposit box, hair dryer, air conditioning and balcony with a romantic view on the sea. The mini-bar is placed at the guests’ disposal on request. The hotel, whose facade is light beige coloured, is particularly comfortable since it has a brand new lift and no steps. The informal and friendly atmosphere, the excellent cuisine and the warm welcome assure the success of a pleasant, healthy and totally relaxing holiday, meant to satisfy both adult and young guests.
