Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Had difficulty checking in as the night manager did not speak any english and google translate evidently doesn't work as well as one hoped. There is no dedicated parking for the hotel. Had a hard time logging into the wifi. The hallways and staircases are narrow and quite dark. Overall, not worth the price.

I was here for 5 nights for work. Although the hotel is central to all amenities I wasn't altogether happy. I visited during a cold spell in May and the hotel was very cold, especially in the bathroom and the breakfast room. I was informed rather curtly that the heating could not be put on at that time. Only one member of staff was willing to give me some hot water from the bar so I could have a hot drink in my room in the evening. I was quite surprised at the staff attitude as nobody greeted me on arrival or thanked me and said goodbye when I left. I stay in many hotels in Italy and Spain for work and have rarely met such casualness. Most hotels go out of their way to make me feel welcome and comfortable.

Spent the weekend with friends for a local wedding. Good and clean hotel near the city centre. Rooms and bathroom are very large. Lot of noise from the streets and breakfast served only till 9am are two downsides. Price is definitely fair. Very friendly hotel receptionist. Fit for purpose lodging!

Old town, very noisy. The bath was okay, except the shower was slippery. A double-glass door opened onto the Fiat-wide street below. Don't Sicilians know to stop yelling when people are trying to sleep. The Breakfast room, on the top floor gave a panoramic view of the city. The food was tasty.

This hotel was more than adequate. I noticed some not so great reviews but keep in mind this is a 3 star hotel. Great location! The overall property was clean and orderly and quiet. The staff were pleasant. Don`t be surprised if the front door is locked. This is for security purposes. Someone wasn`t far from the door when we needed to gain access. There is an elevator albeit small. Three of us stood inside it comfortably. That is typical with smaller hotels throughout Europe. Our room overlooked the pedestrian walkway. This area is blocked off from cars. We had to park at a public lot down the street. The rates were very reasonable and the car was perfectly safe. The ensuite washroom was an average size - almost a little large for the scale of the hotel so that was a plus. The bed was firm and comfortable. Air conditioning was adequate. We have had challenges with other hotels but this was fine. Cool air did not blow directly onto us. We turned it on when leaving for dinner and returned to a comfortable room. Keep in mind this was August so we did well. Breakfast was included and adequate. Nothing fancy but we had no complaints. Again - this is a 3 star. We tipped everyone - from the bell hop to the gentleman who brought our coffee at breakfast. See photos!!!

Charming hotel with funny, old fashion sitting rooms and bar. Very central located in a narrow street. Breakfast Italian style with cakes, some more healthy food could be fine. Good coffee and as many cups as you like.

This was a friendly and centrally located hotel. It was rather quirky and old fashioned - but clean and fresh. Very near little streets and bars. It was harder to park than I thought as they were pedestrianizing the area so the street parking near the hotel didn't exist ! We found a street nearby ( blue box parking so paid in machine ). Ignore and roads that appear to be on Google maps - many were just stairs or too narrow to drive in !!! Got lost leaving the town as such bad road signs ( not uncommon in Sicily we found out !! )

My friend and I arrived in Caltanissetta almost by accident. After a tough day of travel, we were happy to find this lovely hotel. Actually, we were overjoyed. It's gorgeous. I suspect a hotel in Rome like this would cost at least twice as much. After a wonderful sleep, I went to breakfast. It was very good. While my friend was in the breakfast room, a large group of opera singers arrived. They were there for a performance at the local opera house. I had a simple breakfast. Hers was an experience of song.
