We came across this hotel while exhibiting at the ploughing championships but were already booked in to the very overpriced dundrody hotel. The owners Richard and Helene have ticked every box in creating the perfect product weather for buisness or pleasure. We viewed the rooms( for future bookings) which we modern, clean and comfortable. We had dinner in the lounge and the food... More

Lovely hotel in a quaint little seaside town. We went over to Ireland for a family occasion and stayed at Fort Conan. We enjoyed the stay so much we've been back twice and decided the hotel deserved a good review. The hotel itself has improved since our first visit with on suite facilities and a more welcoming foyer. I don't... More

A large group of us recently spent a very enjoyable weekend at this newly refurbished hotel. All the rooms are delightfully furnished and very spacious, and whilst the hotel is quite large, it has a very intimate feel to it.The breakfast and evening meal was well cooked and extremely filling and very competitivly priced.Overall, a lovely place to stay in a... I have never experienced such a friendly Hotel. Richie and his family really look after you as if you were part of their family. It was a breath of fresh air,sit and relax and just have a chat. They appreciate your custom and want you to make a return visit.

This hotel is situated overlooking the breathtaking esturary at Duncannon with easy access to the beautiful beach and views out to the Hook lighthouse. The hotel was recently refurbished and was a great base for exploring the area and after an event in Dunbrody abbey. The owners were so so accomodating to all of our needs while we stayed there.... Although not very glamourous, this is a welcoming family run hotel in the beautiful seaside village of Duncannon. Probably about a 2 star standard, it is clean and comfortable and good value for the location - some rooms overlooking Waterford Bay. Nice terrace at back of hotel to sit out, weather permitting. Homely bar/lounge serving good coffee and even better... More
