Our room was really nice, clean with a good shower and comfortable bed. The dining experience wasn't really for us, as it was quite expensive and the atmosphere not so great. It's in a lovely location next to the river.

We have just had the most wonderful night at Abbey Bridge. Very comfortable bed, room and bath and simply superb dinner, cooked by our host Tim. Whilst walking from Carlisle to Newcastle we stayed at Abbey Bridge B & B. The room was very comfortable. The en suite and bedroom were furnished to a high standard. Abbey Bridge B and B looks very beautiful both at the outside and inside, and the rooms were comfortable enough. But the service did not impress us. We were told to hurry during breakfast because more people were coming, and the packed lunch we had was small and not worth the money we paid for it.
