What a shame we were only passing through on business!! Warm, welcoming, well appointed and nothing was too much trouble. Really gutted we couldn't stay longer. Even the fellow guest were lovely! We will be back, just as soon as we can. More

I visited the cambridge house hotel recently with my friend as we are keen golfers and this hotel was recommended by a friend. I was glad to find that the close proximity to southports golf courses were not the only plus point about this hotel. The rooms were extremely clean and the staff very friendly and accommodating. Nothing was too... More

Excellent selection of fine wines complimented with fresh local fine food. The Chef Richard excels in all departments. It is indeed pleasant to relax the lounge after a truly well cooked meal More

Beautifully appointed rooms, stayed for New Year and will return as the whole experience is just so relaxing. Rooms so clean I think the housekeeper must have OCD, but not a bad thing! Best bit about the stay was the very reasonable priced food and wine(get a bid fed up of the bar bill shock, normally but not here) the... More

I visited this hotel recently with my partner and must say we will definately be returning. The staff were so friendly and helpful, nothing seemed too much trouble. The room was beautiful and very clean. We decided to dine in the restaurant on our second night as it had been recommended by other guests and if the breakfast was anything... More

We stayed here for 1 night and the welcome was nice and friendly. Our room was huge and more than enough room for us and our dog. The bathroom had a nice bath as well, so all the facilities were brilliant. Unfortunately, there seemed to be some sort of function at this hotel when we stayed, which meant the restaurant... More

Stayed here 02.12.2011 after attending a wedding in the area, we were informed upon arrival 'you've been ugraded' . Ok the room was spacious but tacky probably fits the bill better, the awful wooden headboard is the first thing that hits you, then you come across a hugh arrangement of plastic flowers - urgh is all I can say. If... More
